Porcelain Veneers Can Give You a Wonderful New Smile!

How much effort do you need to put in to maintain a good smile? That varies from case to case. Regular hygiene and routine checkups will suffice for some. Others may need an occasional whitening. Some may need to go through multiple cosmetic procedures like changing the sizes, shapes, and color of their teeth. This can mean a lot of expense in money and time.

What if you could achieve pearly white, perfectly shaped teeth, and a beautiful smile with just one cosmetic dental procedure? Yes, that’s possible with veneers!

What are Veneers?

Veneers are small shells made of porcelain or acrylic, and are so lifelike that the viewer cannot distinguish them from your natural teeth. They are attached to the front surfaces of your teeth, and are used for concealing cosmetic defects and optimizing the function of crooked, stained, or chipped teeth.

Should I Opt for Porcelain Veneers?

Veneers offer an excellent cosmetic solution for the following situations:

• Excessive spaces between teeth

• Chipped or cracked teeth

• Discolored teeth which are permanently stained

• Unevenly sized teeth

How are Veneers Prepared?

We will start the procedure by removing a very thin layer of material from the front surfaces of your teeth to allow for the thickness of the veneers. We will then record digital measurements of your teeth, and pass them to a dental laboratory where a skilled technician will prepare the veneers for a precise fit to your teeth.

After their preparation, we will first try the veneers on your teeth without attaching them. Once you are happy with the aesthetics, we will attach the veneers by using dental cement.

Are Porcelain Veneers Right for Me?

Porcelain veneers can absolutely change one’s smile. If you want to an even more radiant and beautiful smile by concealing crooked or stained teeth, then veneers might be the best option for you.
